In the evening, we introduce ourselves to our fellow participants and discuss our trip to the Everest View Trek. Overnight in Kathmandu.

Throughout the 40-minute flight from Kathmandu to Lukla (9186 feet), we take advantage of one of the most beautiful air routes in the world, which culminates on a hill surrounded by high peaks. In Lukla, the starting point of our hike, we meet the other crew members and begin to prepare our belongings and make arrangements with them. From Lukla, we started trekking. After an hour of progressive descent, we will be in a village called Cheplung from where we can see the mountain Khumbila (18900 feet), known as a sacred mountain that has never been climbed. From Cheplung, we descend gradually to Phakding. Overnight in Phakding.

Walking through a beautiful pine forest, we follow the path to the north of the Benkar Valley. Then we cross the Dudh Koshi River and continue from Chumoa to Monjo, the entrance to the Everest National Park. After crossing a suspension bridge, we pass through the town of Jorsale and cross the rivers Dudh Koshi and Bhote Koshi. A steep climb takes us to the heart of Sherpa village - Namche Bazaar. One hour from Namche Bazaar, weather permitting, we can admire the views of Mt. Everest and Mt. Lhotse. We will spend the night in the Namche bazaar.

There are many things to do in Namche Bazaar, and we can spend a day acclimatizing. Namche Bazaar is the main center of the Khumbu area and includes government offices, ATMs, cybercafés, shops, restaurants, and a colorful market. Our guides can take us to discover the true charm of the Namche Bazaar. Hiking at Sagarmatha National Park rewards hikers with a view of the sunrise and view of Mount Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Ama Dablam, Thamserku, Kongde, etc. If we are interested in a day hike, we will walk to the village of Khumjung (12401 feet), a beautiful village with a Sherpa colony. While exploring Namche Bazar, we observe the traditional Sherpa life, Khumjung Hillary School, and enjoy the flora and fauna found at such a high altitude. We will spend the night at Namche Bazaar.

Today's trip begins with an ascent to the famous Syangboche airstrip. There is plenty of View Hotel right above the airstrip which offers the breathtaking views of the mighty Everest. We continue walking towards the village of Khumjung which is surrounded by Kondge, Thamserku and the sacred mountains of Khumbila. While we are here, we visit Edmund Hillary School and Khumjung Monastery (a monastery famous for hosting Chef Yeti). Overnight in Khumjung.

We descend to the Dudhkoshi River and cross beautiful villages along the way. We walk along a forest path that will take us to a river channel. Then we climb another two hours through pine and spruce forests to reach a small town of Tengboche. The village is also home to the famous Tengboche Gumba, which rises to 3,867 m. It is the largest monastery in the Khumbu region of Nepal. We visit the Gumba and enjoy panoramic views of the Himalayas, including Tawache, Nuptse, Lhotse, Ama Dablam, Thamserku, and Everest. Night in Tengboche.

From Tengboche, a steep descent of about 500 meters will take us through rhododendrons forest and firs trees to the Dudh Koshi River. We continue our journey and cross the villages of Tashinga and Sansa before arriving at Kyangjuma. While here, we can enjoy spectacular views of Amadablam, Thamserku, Nuptse, Lhotse, and Everest. We will spend the night in Kyangjuma.

We must first reach Namche Bazaar, then continue towards Monjo. The trail stretches to the steep wooded hill beyond Kyangjuma, winding through several curves. We keep an eye on wildlife, such as mountain goats, snow leopards, colorful pheasants, etc. when we crossed a forest path. A steep descent leads us to a bridge over the Dudh Koshi River. We crossed the river twice in separate places before arriving at Monjo. Night in Monjo.

The trail descends rapidly before cutting the Chauri Kharka trail. On the way, we passed the villages of Phakding and Chopling. The climb of Chauri Kharka is the last climb of the promenade. Since the local staff you met in Lukla will not accompany you to Kathmandu, today is the last day you celebrate your achievements. Overnight in Lukla.
